Everyone has someone they consider a best friend. That best friend is like no one else. You can tell them all your secrets without fear of them getting out. They’re the person you can act like a nerd with, and know they’re going to be Just as nerdy, Like two peas In a pod. I’ve known my best friend since I was In the third grade when she moved and came to my school. Today, we’re still going to school together, and are better friends than ever. We’re like good wine, we get better with age. We have so much in common it’s sometimes scary. We think the same boys are cute. We both drive Jeeps.
Firebombed is by far our favorite store. Shopping comes before school, and boys come before shopping. We work together, and are taking all the same classes. Egos with blueberry syrup and Tombstone pizzas are our favorite meals. We’re both always ready to stop and have a McDonald’s daily double. Both our mothers consider the other another daughter. Where we differ, we are always complimenting each other’s differences. From our passion for soccer, to our love of boys, to our lazy procrastinating ways In school. On the field we’re both Intense. She’s a goal scorer, a playmates, she plays quick.
I’m a goal saver, an observer; I slow the game down when I get the ball. When we go boy hunting, my best friend is the girl standing outside the sunroof waving at every good- looking guy she sees. I’m the girl who glances back and forth at the boys next to us, but won’t wave unless they do first. During school she’s always the first one to get darted reading a book or writing a speech we have due. But while I wait to start my assignments, I’m almost always the first to finish them with the help of my best bud, and then we work together to finish up her things. We’re like Mary and Rhoda, Tom and Jerry, Roomy and Michelle.
My best friend Is Like a snowflake, unique and beautiful all at the same time. She Is as strong as a rock. No one can break her down. My best friend Is an open book. She lets you know how she feels and what she thinks whether you wanted to know or not. There are so many things I love about my best friend there isn’t enough time in the day to name them all. I love how she always mixes up her words, but no matter how badly she misconstrues her statements, I always understand what she means. I love how she’s always ready to jump in the Jeep and go hunt for her boyfriend at work, and then make a detour to Whitfield Mall.
I love the way she can laugh at any situation and always lightens up a heavy mood. Most of all I love that she’s my best friend and that she’s always going to be there for me when I need her. We’ve made so many memories together, each one unique and special. Like all the times we go to Cafe© Hookah and play rummy. Or the time we got so Into spoons we all ended up on the floor, and my table ended up with scratches. Some of my favorite times were just driving in her old Jeep Grand Cherokee on the way to watch our for Softest was amazing. Or our trip to San Diego when we went to Sea World and got our hair spray painted.
And playing against her in fourth grade SAYS soccer when her team always beat mine. Whether we were eight or eighteen, we’ll always eve awesome memories together. Through arguments and disagreements we last. Through new friends and hangouts we last. Through tough times and thousands of miles we last. Through new boyfriends and crushes we last. Through every new memory we make we last. And we’ll continue to last through everything we face. N is for nonchalant. I is for irreplaceable. C is for Crazy. O is for open. L is for lovable. E is for everything a best friend should be. My best friend is Nicole Cheesecake, always has been, always will be.
