Preparation Outline: The “Bugatti Veyron” Specific Purpose Statement: I would like to inform my audience about the Bugatti Veyron and its uniqueness on why it is the fastest and most expensive production car today. Introduction l. Question? A. Imagine being at 60 mph within 3 seconds? B. Is that even safe some may ask? C. Some may think and say is that even possible? II. Answer A. It is indeed possible with the Bugatti Veyron. A. l . Known as the fastest and most expensive production car today. A. l . a. Some may call it a collectors item. The build of this car has been made in the most unique way to create all that power it holds. Ill. About A. Bugatti is company that has been around since 1909 A. l. Which 104 years to this year B. The Bugatti Veyron has been a production car since 2005 till present day. C. Bugatti is a company that was originated, designed and engineered by Volkswagen. C. I . Audi. C. 2. This car is sometimes Just heard of and only been seen in magazines or Internet sites, but never even thought of being able to see in person. D. Today I would like to speak about one of my biggest dream cars, the Bugatti Veyron. Body I l. Owning a Bugatti Veyron is a dream to any car enthusiast, but if one is lucky enough to be able to afford one they might Just be called the “Luckiest Man in the World”. II. To put into perspective, there is about only 360 Bugatti Veyron owners in the world according to Volkswagen’s AG Annual Report. Body II l.
With all these great specifications on a car, there has to be a great amount of price to it as well. II. The basic Bugatti Veyron can cost as low as 1. 2 Million Dollars to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which can get to almost 4 Million Dollars. Body Ill l. The Bugatti Veyron is not Just a car that is a collector’s item, but it sets records beyond records. a. Bugatti set the record for having the highest top speed in the world with the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, reaching a top speed of 254. 04 mph. a. i. This record was accomplished on April 6, 2013. a. i. l .
It is said by Bugatti that the Veyron can exceed this record if all conditions of weather, air pressure, etc were at perfect situations and be able to reach a speed of 268 mph. a. i. 2. Which is almost double the speed ofa 747 plane taking off on a run way. b. Not only did the Bugatti Veyron pass records of the highest top speed, but also the quickest car to 0-60; a common term to measure the quickness of a car from zero to sixty miles per hour. b. i. The Bugatti Veyron was able to accomplish a breath l. With all this power comes from the soul heart of the Bugatti Veyron’s engine. a. The
Bugatti’s engine is like no other engine ever used in a vehicle. a. i. Bugatti calls their engine a W16 engine, which has sixteen cylinders. b. Bugatti found a way of creating an engine that had two V8 engines combined with 4 superchargers. b. i. No company has ever decided to create an engine of this complexity. b. ii. To show in visualization the average V8 engine has 4-5 liters of space, but the Bugatti almost doubles the liters by having an 8 liters in it’s engine. c. With this powerful engine comes some great power. c. i. The Bugatti Veyron ranges from 1001-1200 horsepower. Conclusion .
In conclusion Bugatti has reached many achievements in their history of car production. II. They have achieved records of having the highest top speed, quickest 0-60, have an engine like no other, and have a price tag like no other production car as well. Ill.
