History of Bethel Academy: As an institution that stared 30 years age through the faith of its founder by the grace of God. It continue to remain faithful to its sacred calling. The school has now embarked on “Climbing New Heights for the Glory of God. ” Bethel Academy of Gen. Trias, Cavite Inc. opened its doors to pupils for the first time in June of 1978. It was founded by godly men and women who have received a vision to establish a “school that cares” not only for the mental and physical development of its students but also for their soul and spirit which are precious in the sight of God.

The young institution was first known to the community as Hundredfold Covenant Assembly of God Kiddie School. It carried the name of the church that gave birth to this ministry and also housed the daily classes of the school in its building. The operation of the young school was led by its dedicated staff. Spearheaded by its first Board Chairman, Rev. Edilberto C. Medina, the children’s apostolate began its work. The pioneering members of the school board included Mr. Benjamin A. Ascano, Mr. Pedro A. Ascano, supervised the teacher and pupils daily in the classrooms and in the chapel. Its first teachers included Rebecca A. Garcia and Florinia T. Dulce. That historic year had brought forth 25 graduates. No less than the late town Mayor, Mr. Teofilo Grepo honored the firstfruits of Bethel Academy. Bethel Academy continued to grow. The church building just could not accommodate the growing number of enrollees. Its reputation continued to expand that it began taking in foreign students from Japan, Korea, United States, etc. In 1990, it had registered with the Department of Education Culture and Sports(DECS) under ASCEP Accreditation.

By the grace of God and His abundant provision, the Sta. Clara property was purchased. Mr. Ascano tirelessly worked and prayed to see the construction of the new school building for Bethel Academy. On June 30, 1997, the school was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-profit non-stock educational institution under the name BETHEL ACADEMY OF GEN. TRIAS, CAVITE INC. Its incorporators included Rev. Reynaldo A. Garcia, chairman; Dorcas R. Ascano, corporate secretary; Rogelio C. Fortuno, treasurer, Rev. Leonardo S. Dimla and Estelita V. Prodigalidadas members.
