Interconnect them (INTERCONNECTED) i) Interconnected means connecting people, systems and objects so that they can they can interact and communicate within themselves freely and in entirely new way 3. Make them intelligent (INTELLIGENT) ) Intelligent means being dynamic i. e. responding to changes quickly and accurately and get better results by predicting and optimizing for future events INSTRUMENTED + INTERCONNECTED + INTELLIGENT= SMARTER PLANET, this gives an opportunity to think and act in new ways socially, economically and technically & make system more efficient, responsive and productive.
