They help them develop and mature, and they leave a major impact on their life. In order for them to have an impact certain qualities are important. The ideal teacher should be organized, helpful, and disciplinary to have a positive influence on students.
One thing a teacher absolutely needs to have is organization. The teacher has to be able to keep him or herself in order. An organized teacher should always have a schedule. They should never get off topic or waste any time. They also should not misplace or lose any of the student’s papers. This will help keep the students organized, which is a top priority as well. Organization is an important skill that can be used throughout the students’ lives, not only in school but also in a Job. Along with being organized, a teacher should be helpful.
The teacher not only needs to know how to teach well, but also how to explain well! Some students need more explaining than others. A teacher should be willing and able to give extra help to those who need it. Students should also feel comfortable going to their teacher with questions or asking for help. Teachers should also be prepared to help students with issues outside of the classroom if that is necessary. Students learn better when they feel comfortable asking their teacher for help. Also, students should have a teacher that is capillary.
First, when the class starts to get out of hand a teacher should be able to keep them under control. Secondly, the teacher should know how to handle the more disruptive students in order to make sure the rest of the class isn’t affected by their actions. Lastly, a teacher who is known to be strict on their class will most likely have fewer problems with students. In conclusion, every student should have a teacher that they can count on to learn the most from. The teacher should be an organized, inspiring, and a disciplinary person.
