Term Definition
Aluminum, Copper, zinc, brass, gold and silver Are non magnetic. Non magnetic means they ARE NOT attracted to a magnet.

Magnets with like poles will always Repel
Magnets with opposite poles will Attract
Does it matter if a magnet is placed in water? Or used in the air? No! A magnet will always have a magnetic field no matter if it is in water or in the air. The magnetic field of a magnet does not change from being in water or in the air.
