Transverse Plane Divides the top and bottom parts of the body
Left Rotation
Right Rotation
Internal Rotation The turning of a limb about its axis of rotation toward the midline of the body; anterior surface rolls inward toward the midline
External Rotation The turning of a limb about its axis of rotation away from the midline of the body; the anterior surface rolls outward, away from the midline
Supination Rotation of the forearm into anatomical position
Pronation Palm facing backwards
Horizontal abduction Arm at shoulder level then backward movement
Horizontal adduction Arm at shoulder level then forward movement
