The role of women now in society has differed alot from the past,especially during the last 50 years. Before the 60s,a women was much expected to have the role of a housewife,while households where both parents worked were not normal. Today a family is considered perfectly normal when both parents are working. During the 50’s,a women would be pressured to get married by her family right after high school,when she would be only 18.
